A week after four plays closed, Broadway saw a dip in box office results. Capacity remained above 90% at 15 of 24 shows, but the overall grosses dropped in a week that included the July 4 holiday. The sole exception: the Tony-winning revival of The Norman Conquests, now in the final weeks of its run at Circle in the Square and playing to 90.48% of capacity.
