Broadway’s box offices cooled a bit from the previous couple of weeks, though 10 of 21 shows still managed to top $1 million in grosses. (Continuing to climb: The Little Mermaid, which has only two weeks left at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.) With the August 16 closing of Mary Stuart, only one play, The 39 Steps, will be running on the Great White Way until Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig begin performances of A Steady Rain on September 10.
