In New Music Video, Fame Kids Light Up the Sky Like a Flame

In just a week, the new version of Fame will hit movie theaters, with a fresh crop of performing arts students dancing on taxis, doing the hot lunch jam (we hope!) and wanting to live forever. Check out this music video for a thumping new take on the Irene Cara classic title song to get a feel for the new flick. There are two notable Broadway stars here: lead vocalist Naturi Naughton, who was a Little Inez during the Broadway run of Hairspray (and, speaking of little, an awesome Lil' Kim in last year's movie Notorious) and Paul McGill of A Chorus Line (look for his rainbow suspenders). Fame opens everywhere September 25.
