It’s always nice to welcome a new Broadway hit, and A Little Night Music is poised to become exactly that. In the week after opening, the musical revival, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury, jumped more than $150,000 from the week before, just missing the frontrunners list (with $938,459 in grosses) and topping the list for capacity. Otherwise, it was business as usual, though the overall numbers were slightly lower from the previous week. (Last-minute sales undoubtedly took a hit from the snowstorm that began on December 19 and continued through the night.)
