See London's Sister Act Feel the Spirit with Special Performance

London’s divine musical comedy Sister Act gave a heavenly performance as part of the 81st Royal Variety Performance at the Opera House Theatre in Blackpool's Winter Gardens. Sister Act is about disco diva Deloris Van Cartier, who witnesses a murder and is put in protective custody in the one place cops are sure she won't be found—a convent! (Guess who finds sisterhood among the sisters?) At the special performance, Whoopi Goldberg, who starred in the movie version and is a producer of the stage version, introduced the high-spirited number.
