The Presidents’ Day holiday week boosted the box office at the majority of Broadway shows, with five musicals topping the $1 million mark and Wicked drawing a very healthy $1.6 million. (On the other hand, a raw demonstration of star power was on display at A Little Night Music, which dropped more than $400,000 when Catherine Zeta-Jones took a week off.) Meanwhile, three new entries began previews on the Great White Way: A Behanding in Spokane, Looped and Next Fall.
