With the addition of Everyday Rapture, the 2009-2010 Broadway season is officially complete—and box office results were generally on an upswing from the previous week. The Addams Family continued its winning ways (take that, New York Times!), retaining its place in the frontrunners’ list, and several other new tuners experienced healthy jumps at the box office, notably American Idiot (up more than $300,000, to $777,860), Come Fly Away (rising above $900,000 for the first time) and La Cage aux Folles (jumping more than $150,000 from the previous week). Can 34 shows continue running through Tony season? Stay tuned.
