We’re starting to sound like a broken record, but the big story of the spring season is that The Addams Family and revivals of Promises, Promises and Fences keep packing ’em in on Broadway. Among the long-running shows, Wicked, The Lion King, Billy Elliot and Jersey Boys continue to haul in more than $1 million a week. And although they aren’t on the front-runners lists, Tony-nominated musicals Fela!, Memphis and La Cage aux Folles are benefitting from awards-season publicity, with all three shows comfortably above $600,000 in grosses for the week.
