Is Jennifer Aniston headed for Broadway? During a recent visit to Live with Regis and Kelly, Aniston, who opens in the new sperm-swapping comedy The Switch on August 20, spilled that she hopes to come to the Great White Way soon. "I want to do theater," the actress said “I do. I’d like to just be back in New York because that’s what I love doing."
While Aniston has yet to make an appearance in a full Broadway production, she has participated in The 24 Hour Plays benefit in 2006 and 2009 at the American Airlines Theatre. She also appeared off-Broadway opposite Tony Shalhoub in 1988 in the Public Theatre's For Dear Life. Aniston even recently channeled Broadway legend Barbara Streisand for a photo shoot for Harper's Bazaar.
In addition to The Switch, Aniston's film credits include The Good Girl, Friends with Money, Office Space, Marley and Me and The Break-Up. She is, of course, is best known for her 10-year stint as Rachel on TV'S Friends and her five-year stint as the real-life Mrs. Brad Pitt.
