The new season is heating up, as five Broadway houses welcomed new shows this week, including the reboot of Time Stands Still, new sports drama Lombardi and star-studded revivals of A Life in the Theatre and La Bete (which packed in audiences for its first five performances). The first new musical of the season, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, also began previews. Long-running hits Wicked, The Lion King, Jersey Boys and Billy Elliot crossed the $1 million mark, with most other continuing shows up slightly from the previous week.
