As if the Kennedy Center Honors aren’t star-studded enough (2010 honorees included Paul McCartney and Oprah), late nighters at this year’s celebration were treated to a little something extra when Broadway fave Matthew Morrison performed a surprise number! Around 1am, after the notoriously lengthy awards ceremony and post-show dinner, the dapper Glee star glided to the mic with the afterparty's Chicago Jazz Orchestra for an impromptu rendition of "The Street Where You Live" from My Fair Lady. When asked why he took over the stage, Morrison gave the oldest answer in any true performer’s handbook: “Why not?” Check out the video below!
