New shows continue to head to Broadway as spring approaches, with Magic/Bird and End of the Rainbow joining the boards last week. In its first week of full regular performances, the starry revival of Death of a Salesman broke the house record at the Barrymore Theatre by taking in $777,953 for seven performances. Other new entries Evita and Newsies are faring well in their early preview weeks, with the musicals taking in $1,410,635 and $828,882, respectively.
