Tony-winning The Book of Mormon composer Robert Lopez has been named on Crain's New York Business' annual 40 under 40. The list profiles 40 people who have achieved success in business before the age of 40. The list also cited Peter and the Starcatcher producer Eva Price.
Lopez earned Tony Awards for the score and book of The Book of Mormon, as well as Tony Award for the score of Avenue Q. He also recently composed music for the film Winnie the Pooh and helped co-write a Broadway-themed South Park episode with his Mormon collaboraters Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Lopez is set to pen a TV comedy for ABC with his brother Billy Lopez.
In addition to Peter and the Starcatcher, Price is currently readying to bring a revival of Annie to Broadway. Her other Broadway producing credits include The Merchant of Venice, Colin Quinn: Long Story Short, A Life in the Theatre, The Addams Family, Wishful Drinking and Dr. Suess' How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
