Brandon Victor Dixon, Berry Gordy and the Stars of Motown: The Musical Strut Their Soulful Stuff

What’s your favorite Motown song? Chances are you’ll be able to hear it in Motown: The Musical, a brand new Broadway musical chronicling the life of Motown founder Berry Gordy (who wrote the show’s book). The story follows a young Gordy (played by Tony nominee Brandon Victor Dixon) and his meteoric career, as well as his red-hot romance with music legend Diana Ross (The Book of Mormon’s Valisia LeKae). In a special press preview, Gordy showed off his talented cast of crooners and dancers as they performed a selection of musical numbers from the high-energy tuner.
