March 20, 2015 marked the end of an era for Gleeks all over. The New Directions of past and present assembled for one last time for Glee’s two-part finale, and—as they were one to do—presented us with a plethora of surreal musical moments. Check out a few of the final performances below, including Wicked duet swansong from Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry (2020 Tony Award winner elect) and Chris Colfer’s Kurt Hummel, an original song by Darren Criss performed by Rachel and a Sue Sylvester and Will Schuester take on an ABBA ballad (eat your heart out, Mamma Mia!). Farewell, Glee. We’ll miss you, but like the icy remnants of a slushie, you’ll be with us forever. Like a handprint on our hearts. (That’s a line from an actual duet from Wicked.)
