Cam Jansen to Play the Lamb's Theatre

Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin, the songwriting team attached to the upcoming musical version of Legally Blonde, will see their new musical, Cam Jansen, hit off-Broadway this fall. Performances of the show will begin at the Lamb's Theatre on November 6.
Cam Jansen is based on the series of popular children's books by David A. Adler about a 10-year-old girl who discovers she can use her amazing photographic memory to solve crimes. In the show, Cam teams up with former rivals and friends to solve the disappearance of the Emerald Elephant of Pajamastan.

Farah Alvin, Brad Oscar, Kevin Pariseau and Kate Wetherhead starred in a developmental reading of Cam Jansen in March, but no casting has been confirmed for the upcoming full production.
The Theatreworks/USA presentation of Cam Jansen, directed by Gordon Greenberg, is scheduled to officially open on November 12.
