Broadway Grosses: Happy Holidays! White Christmas Just Shy of $1.5 Million

Holiday-hungry theatergoers put White Christmas at the top of grosses chart as the limited-run musical, which played nine performances at the 1,611-seat Marquis Theatre, pulled in almost $1.5 million. Every show in the top five grossed more than $1 million for the week, and a total of eight shows including the departing A Man for All Seasons, starring Oscar hopeful Frank Langella filled their theaters to more than 90% of capacity.
