So funny!
"Be ready to laugh at mormon religion. Comedy is comedy so you can pretty much laugh at anything even if you respect them in real life. It's a show without comedy borders, not suitable for everybody. The artists are incredible performers, the dancing and the singing it's out of the charts. With less props and less people they make this play work just right."

Forced Family Fun Done Right
"I love Broadway musicals, but my two 20-something sons don't share my passion. This is a great show for (older) kids who might think musicals are just lame stories with singing. I wouldn't recommend it for EVERY family, but it was perfect for my kids who were begrudgingly accommodating Mom on her birthday trip."

A splendid show
"My teenager son is not a fan of musicals but there are two shows that he kept the soundtrack playing all night after he watched them on the Broadway: Hamilton and the Book of Mormon. Its music is impeccable! For me, a show that leaves plenty of afterthoughts in its audience's minds is a great show, a powerful and unforgettable show. The book of Mormon lies exactly in this category. It takes the Broadway shows to another level! I will come back again for 'Hello'! "

Edgy but not as controversial as expected!!
"Edgy storyline. A fabulous cast, full of energy! I was anticipating more controversy in the story line, based on feedback and reviews. Entertaining from first minute to last minute. It is unfortunate a glass of wine is $22 USD. "

Good for kids over 12 cause they already all the swear words!
"We brought our 16 year old grandson, it was his first broadway play. So for his age, yes a would recommend it, but not for kids under 12. He loved it as did we! It was funny the actors were all great. The music was fantastic! It was great fun."

Hilarious and irreverant!
"This show was funny, as you would expect from the creators of South Park. I wouldn't say it is family friendly and if you are easily offended, stay away. If you want some funny and thoughtful entertainment that includes some great music then this show is for you. "

Much better than expected
"I've seen a couple of Broadway shows that were hailed as "best ever" and "longest running" etc... but, honestly might have fallen asleep in one or two of those. I went in with high hopes and Book of Mormon exceeded those. Laughter throughout, songs and dance integrated very well with story telling, not forced in. Performances were excellent and sets were beautiful and nothing took away from the experience. Highly recommend!"

About The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon follows two young missionaries who are sent to Uganda to try to convert citizens to the Mormon religion. One missionary, Elder Price, is an enthusiastic go-getter with a strong dedication to his faith, while his partner, Elder Cunningham, is a socially awkward but well meaning nerd whose tendency to embroider the truth soon lands him in trouble. Upon their arrival in Africa, Elders Price and Cunningham learn that in a society plagued by AIDS, poverty and violence, a successful mission may not be as easy as they expected.
