Shocking my Stocking
"My first broadway experience was one for the ages. Trains and planes and winter weather got us to the theater right on time It was my daughter and my first experience with a musical. It didn’t disappoint. We love South Park so it was an easy pick for us. That said it became live action laughs and one joke leading to another. The cast was amazing and the crowd was very happily engaged. "

Funniest irreverent show ever!
"The story is hilarious. You have to appreciate adult comedy to avoid being offended. No group is spared. The cast was excellent. Their performance most entertaining. I particularly liked the set for the hell dream. Great show. "

Very FUNNY!
"From the moment the show began, we were laughing. Highly recommended for adults only, as there are many curse words and references to sexuality. Loved it!!"

Former Mormon Here!
"Being a former member (yes I've somehow thwarted them!), the whole production was so SPOT on! Each little mormon missionary character you could see at church, such realistic stereotypes! The mormon hell dream was so damn clever, I have HAD this nightmare. While I wouldn't recommend this for kiddos, this show is PERFECT if you want a phenomenal laugh and pristine theater performances. Everyone sounded so wonderful, as silly as it was, the artistry behind each talented soul was on full display. The stage, and scenery also added to the whimsy of the whole production. The angel moroni made me instantly giggle walking into the stunning Eugene O'Neill theatre house. Thank you for having us, and delighting this ex-jack mormon's little twisted heart. "

A Show Like No Other
"My husband and I live in Virginia, but came up to the city for a fun weekend. A friend recommended the Book of Mormon, so we decided to go. I had no idea what was in store for me! From the minute the cast came on stage, they kept the audience engaged and in laughter for the entire show! They are brilliant actors and talented musicians. I would not recommend taking children only because of the mature content. "

Hilarious, Amazing Show!
"I booked tickets to this on a whim on a recommendation from my brother while on vacation in NYC. I should also preface that I am not religious so I knew I would not be offended. I decided not to look it up so I would be surprised and enjoy with no expectations, and I'm so glad I did!!! The songs were catchy, the acting was incredible and it was probably the funniest show I've ever seen! Even though it is satirical in nature, it definitely still has a heartwarming message. Highly recommend and would absolutely see again!"

About The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon follows two young missionaries who are sent to Uganda to try to convert citizens to the Mormon religion. One missionary, Elder Price, is an enthusiastic go-getter with a strong dedication to his faith, while his partner, Elder Cunningham, is a socially awkward but well meaning nerd whose tendency to embroider the truth soon lands him in trouble. Upon their arrival in Africa, Elders Price and Cunningham learn that in a society plagued by AIDS, poverty and violence, a successful mission may not be as easy as they expected.
