"I saw it when visiting family in NJ. Any seat in the house is a good seat. The storyline, dancing and music are phenomenal! The singers are wonderful! But when the music comes on you will want to get off your seat and dance.

"The FABULOUS music/musicians, the FABULOUS dancers, the FABULOUS voices, the narrative/story that was built around the history/documentary was so very creative.
Seeing the WOMEN DANCERS in flat shoes was "curious" because I and most of the other women I enjoyed dance with always danced in heals when dancing at a club.
This MUSICAL is a WONDERFUL contribution to the history of people of color with limited means.
Thanks of the opportunity to share and reminding us all of the DIASPORA in a life affirming venue.
