"BVSC was a show that uses a place to summarize a historical moment where music and singing helped to define a generation of Cuban artists that impacted the world. The storytelling, the dancers and actor's performances paid tribute to the album concerts and documentary that was released in the 1990s. "Fantastic music! Inspiring energy! Buena Vista Social Club brought our Spanish speaker to tears multiple times. We non- Spanish speakers missed out on the narrative, but not the vibe. Wow!! I especially appreciated, as a non Spanish speaker, the creative way of communicating the experiences from forty years earlier alongside the current day experiences.
