"It helps if you have the original Buena Vista Social Club album from 1996. Read the liner notes too, and also watch the movie. Also, read up a bit about the history of the 1959 Cuban revolution. With all of this prep, you will be ready to enjoy the play the best and understand the context of each of the songs that are woven into a typical Broadway plot. All of the singing and performance, and a bit of improvisation are top notch. It just ended too soon! The room is on fire. Blow out the candle!"
