"Genuinely a ground breaking show! For those who are true fans of the original, they will love this take on the work! I thought this was the high energy, interactive ingenuity that broadway NEEDS to continue to thrive. I do not understand why it’s closing. The talent of the cast -OVERFLOWING. "I treated myself to stage seat tickets for my birthday this past Wednesday and when I tell you, I have not been able to take my mind off this show. Every aspect of it is captivating and draws you in closer. The cast is legitimately full of all stars who make this production what it is. "I can't believe this show is set to close in a few weeks! Monday night, packed house, audience totally engaged. The creativity behind this show is off the charts. I will admit - I am old and saw the original Cats in London in previews with Andrew Lloyd Weber in audience taking notes. He has supported this reimagining of his show which incorporates ballroom without sacrificing the music and sort-of plot. I was "in" from the initial moment that the DJ pulls out the original Cats album (I had it!) and sets the show off. Wonderful! Unique! Amazing!"

Grand Spectacle from opening to Close
"I’ve been to a lot of musicals in my life but never been entertained as much throughout the production as I was in Cats: The Jellicle Ball. Every cast member was outstanding. I came to specifically to see Sidney James Harcourt, and he was superb. I was already planning to see the show again on my December NYC visit to only learn it will close early. Excellent reinvention of CATS!
"I had a great time at Cats: The Jellicle Ball! It's an extraordinary reimagining of the classic musical. I wasn't sure whether the ballroom setting would work, but it really does.
Some caution about the theater though. I sat in the second row balcony of the theater. The seats are narrow and extremely close to the seat in front of you. I am over six feet tall and did not fit in the seats, which was a first for me. Thankfully the seat next to me was empty and I was able to sit sideways.
Also, the production has extended the stage to accommodate the runway. There was about 10-15% of the show I literally could not see because it extended beyond the balcony field of vision.
In short, the show is definitely worth seeing, but don't sit in the balcony. And if you're tall, make sure you have an aisle seat."
