The interplay of Nathan Lane and Laura Metcalf is nothing short of magical in the deepest sense of the human experience. The set is wonderfully stark and also speaks to the essence of the play. Every Line An Eye-Opener!
"This universal play was expertly crafted by a cast of magnificent actors and an exceptionally creative director. Nathan Lane evokes pity and impatience for Willy so much so that the audience wants to grab him by the shoulders and shake some sense into him. Laurie Metcalf played the ever-supporting, never-judicious Linda with the grace of a juggler.
Joe Mantello, director, gave a thought-provoking twist on his choice of Charley, Willy's neighbor, and the method by which he revamped Charley's final speech into today's modern English.
Audible chuckles at the beginning of the play turned into dead silence, and ultimately followed by sobs. The audience was spellbound!
Death of A Salesman is as timely now as it was when it first appeared on stage in 1949. Bravo to this performance!"

"Lane and Metclaf were impressive and all I hoped for with their chemistry. There is so much more in the play, the chemistry between Lane. Metcalf and Abbott were unreal and very genuine. Ben Ahlers was unexpected and made the show. Ahler's performance was spectacular, and he made more of the role than it was meant to be. The rest of the cast was very complimentary to the rest of the cast, this is one of those plays where when you look back it will be hard to imagen that I was so lucky to see such talent on a stage. "
