"everything about the performance was exceptionally well done .my biggest complaint were the couple in front of me using a phone and swinging theirs heads back and forth.most of my area could not adequately see the lights on the car on stage. I liked the cast size rather small and intimate. I enjoyed the scenes that reminisce a prior memory within the context of the play."

Brilliant Adaptation w/ mesmerizing acting.
"Nathan Lane, Laurie Metcalf and Christopher Abbott lead a brilliant cast in the adaptation of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman.
I can’t say enough about how beautiful and raw the performances are. Set in what looks to be a deserted warehouse, this haunting story stays with you long after you leave the theater.
Both Lane and Metcalf are at the top of their game. The rest of the cast does an amazing job keeping up with these two powerhouse actors.
It is heartbreaking, beautiful and haunting. The almost three hour runtime speeds by without ever letting up.
This show should be at the top of everyone’s ‘Must See’ list. "

The power of women
"I have never read this play nor ever seen it performed on stage before, so maybe I have a unique perspective. I was completely blown away with the entire production; the imagery, the characters, the story and the acting.
What stood out most for me was Laurie Metcalfe's performance of Linda. She expressed the gritty determination of a woman, behind the scenes, silently holding everything together. Guiding her sons to see beneath the surface bravado of their father and trying to save her husband from himself.
I was warned that the content was "depressing" but that is not the word that I would use. It makes you feel deeply and that is a good thing in a world that can sometimes feel, unfeeling."

Death of a Salesman
"Just an amazing show! Laurie Metcalf and Nathan Lane put on two of the best dramatic performances I’ve seen. They were so raw. The entire cast was fantastic. Also a huge shoutout to the set design & lighting team, both were stunning. Yet despite a massive set, I loved how the props were kept simple as if it were in a black box theater. "

Death of Salesman
"This is one of my favorite plays. I have seen the play with Brian Dennehy and the play with Wendel Pierce. Those were fine performances. However, I felt that this performance surpassed those two. I thought the simple set design with the car driven on and off the stage was brilliant. The performances by Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf were very moving. The interaction between Nathan and the actors playing his sons was intense. The cast as a whole was great. I highly recommend going to see this."

Unforgettable drama
"The play is a brilliant translation of Arthur Millers work. Beautifully portrayed by the genius of Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf and a magnificent performance by Christopher Abbott.
It’s moving and easily relatable even today. This interpretation is unforgettable. And a real Broadway stand out. Best drama I’ve seen in many years "

A masterpiece
"This unusual staging breathes new life into this classic American tragedy. The performances are uniformly excellent. Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf are exactly as masterful as you would expect. Christopher Abbott and Ben Ahlers more than hold their own sharing a stage with Lane and Metcalf, and I was especially impressed with Abbott’s raw performance. "

The Best of Broadway!
"There isn't a thing I didn't love about this production. Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf were outstanding. The nuance they brought to these complex characters (Willy and Linda Loman) surpassed any of the movies previously produced. And the real surprise was the power that Christopher Abbott (Biff) and Ben Ahlers (Happy) brought to their roles. There are two exceedingly talented actors who delivered on every line and in every scene.
To see the brilliance of Arthur Miller come alive on stage was an afternoon I'll never forget. Thanks to everyone who worked to put on this show! "

A rimshot for Drummers.
"Lane and Metcalf were luminous, supported by the best cast I have seen in the Cobb, Scott, Hoffman and Dennehy iterations. While the now vanishing job of travelling salesman is the crucible in which this drama is set, the drama speaks to the struggle of all who toil for wages.
The marital, family, employment and peripheral relationships are examined in searing uncomfortable depth."
