Brilliant Staging and Performances
"From the introduction of Willy’s car as a centerpiece and cleverly employed theatrical device, this production of an American treasure is captivating. I saw Dustin Hoffmann as Willy and Nathan Lanes acting showed a depth of character that stunned me. The rest of the cast were equally superb, especially Abbotts Biff. I attended with my high school age granddaughter who studied the play in class and she was absolutely enthralled. Overall right up there with my most memorable Broadway experiences. "

Not a Salesman's Artifice
"Lane, Metcalf, and Abbott exude their characters' limiting weaknesses, limited strengths, and multiple conflict producing events. This is the best of several productions of Death of a Salesman that I have seen. The set remarkably mirrors each characterization and event.....the red chevy's entrance and exit bookend the script well to give the audience the sense of 'fire' to be ignited and 'ashes' to die out. Nathan Lane is the quintessential actors' role model, the truth of which is affirmed by his portrayal of the antithesis - Willy Loman."

"I have seen every movie version (March, Cobb, D. Hoffman), and on stage, I've seen Dennehy, P.S. Hoffman, Pierce, and now Lane. Every actor who played the role was great. I gotta say, Nathan knocked it out of the park! Willy Lohman WAS my Father and Linda WAS my Mother. Laurie did a fantastic job as Linda as had Elizabeth Franz who passed in November of 2025. I wasn't sure how Nathan could pull it off, but he really was FANTASTIC!"
