Phenomenal Acting
"A real 1950s family struggle that no one will address. Although a serious story far from a broadway musical performance, the acting is superb and depicts the real life and financial struggles that exist with so many families. A performance worth seeing. "

FOUR FANTASTIC ACTORS
"This was one of the best versions of death of the salesman that I’ve ever seen. The four actors on stage showed a large range of emotion in interacting with each other. Nathan Lane captured Willie Loman to a T who are you? Metcalf was perfect as Linda. The parts for the two sons were played phenomenally showing a mixed relationship with their father. This is a show not to miss."

Salesman Review
"The performance I saw of Salesman was filled with depth, nuance and style. I enjoyed the lead actors’ performances and their complete immersion in their roles. The set was minimal but it allowed the audience to concentrate on the play. This show is for true theatre lovers who appreciate American theatre at its apex. "

A Rare Opportunity
"Death of a Salesman is both intense and emotional dealing with adult themes. The stage setting is simple but very creative adding to the overall drama of the story. Nathan Lane, Laurie Metcalf and the supporting cast provide a rare opportunity to see a live performance with outstanding acting. This is Broadway at its finest. "

Fantastic show, mediocre audience
"The performances were, with few exceptions, the best I've seen. Nathan Lane commands every scene he's in despite the pitiful character of Willy, and Laurie Metcalf brought myself and those around me to tears. Jonathan Cake's Uncle Ben was especially menacing and memorable.
The only characters that were a bit weak (in comparison to the otherwise stacked cast) were the younger versions of Biff and Hap, but didn't bring down the scenes much.
The casting of K. Todd Freeman and Michael Washington was quite interesting to me, as it added a certain subtly racial dimension to Willy's final refusal to Charley, which wasn't present in the script, but I felt added depth without losing the heart of the scene."

A very moving production
"The performances of the actors were second to none. It's an old play, but it held up beautifully. It was great to see Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf using their serious theater chops, and Christopher Abbott and Ben Ahlers, who played their adult sons, both delivered masterful performances. There was not a dry eye in the house in the end. "

Heart-rending, tragic and spectacular
"This was, simply, the best performance I’ve ever seen. The actors - all of them - fully inhabited their characters. Every aspect of the play was respected beautifully and interpreted interestingly. Nathan Lane WAS Willy. He wasn’t acting a part. He became the character. Laurie Metcalf became Linda Loman, transforming powerfully into the vortex of the family whirlpool. As her character said both powerfully and tragically, “Attention must be paid”. Thank you for a breathtaking and heartbreaking night at the theatre. "

The actors were amazing!
"I had high expectations for this show and it did not disappoint. Laurie Metcalf's performance almost over-shadowed Nathan Lane's fantastic performance. You truly felt Linda's love for Willy and struggles in the family dynamic."
