It’s 1943, and the Allied Forces are on the ropes. Luckily, they’ve got a trick up their sleeve. Well, not up their sleeve, per se, but rather inside the pocket of a stolen corpse. Equal parts farce, thriller, and Ian Fleming-style spy caper (with an assist from Mr. Fleming himself), Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical tells the wildly improbable and hilarious true story of the covert operation that turned the tide of WWII.
"It is so refreshing to see a new and witty musical make it through the noise nowadays. A wickedly talented (small) cast expertly tells a serious story in the most funny way. At the same time, they pay homage and honor when needed. A hoot and a holler!"

Amazing performance
"This musical was a lot of fun and had a lot of heart, but most impressive were the performances! Only 5 actors pulling off myriad characters with vastly different personalities and accents. Really amazing to see something so original and entertaining."

Instantly in my Top 5
"What an amazing show. The story was great, as was the music, particularly the Letter to Bill song. Very funny cast, even if the topic was serious. Amazed that only 5 people are in this show, they move from character to character so fluidly. This is one I will see again. Truly superb!"

Hilarious!
"Loved the multiple parts the actors played with their quick transformations. The very fast-spoken lyrics were difficult to understand at times (think Hamilton) so it was sometimes hard to follow the fast-moving story. All in all a very entertaining and funny show."

The British are coming!
"Every performer, in all their multiple characters, was fantastic. Men playing female roles; women playing male roles....I was able to suspend disbelief and go along for the ride because they were all so damn good. The quick costume/character changes were fantastic and well done. "Dear Bill" is so well written and performed. Bravo to everyone involved."

Highly recommend
"If you like a fast paced, witty dramedy, you will love Operation Mincemeat! With the cast of five each playing multiple parts, the show moves seamlessly through various scenes and songs while telling the story of a daring ruse to promote the Allied victory in the invasion of Sicily during WWII. The cast were brilliant— with a special shout-out to Jak Malone (the next Nathan Lane?) and David Cumming, who gave fabulous performances —- funny, heartfelt, joyful.
The show has many themes, touching on love, loss, and how people who may feel powerless or disregarded or nameless even can contribute greatly to a cause and success. I particularly liked how at the end they acknowledged the nameless man who, although unseen, was a central character throughout the whole Operation and key to its success!"
