A wild, non-stop romp the entire show
"From when the curtain rose, the high level of energy from the very talented cast was infectious. The audience was on board from the beginning, and the excellent cast deserves credit for making it happen as they changed thrones multiple times before our eyes. I would have liked a few more quiet serious moments. The few that they had were effective & produced tears."

Operation Mincemeat, April, 2026
"The show was delightful and very entertaining! I wouldn’t recommend it for young children, but teenagers for sure. The actors were just terrific! The cross dressing, the British accents, the multiple roles played by various actors, just kept you on your toes. It’s very funny, but also with a very sad overtone which was acknowledged at the end."

Incredible musical talent in a smart, creative and very humorous story line
"The musical talent was incredible and the story line, smart, fun, fast-paced ,engaging and wonderfully humorous.I cannot recommend this show enough. My only advice would be to read up briefly on the story of Operation Mincemeat, if you don’t know it,so that you can most easily follow along with the plot, though it can also be deduced from the musical itself. So fun to see a cast that appears to have so much fun w performing and passes this that joy onto the audience. Bravo!!!👏 "

A funny yet true story come to life on stage
"The actors, set direction and music were all great. The story was told in a way that the audience was riveted to the dialogue. Very British humor so one needs to be aware of that - Monty Pythonesque. We enjoyed every minute of the production. "

Entertaining. . . and so much more.
"We went expecting an upbeat musical, and witnessed a superbly performed play. It was so much more meaningful than I anticipated. This is a very high energy testimonial to creative thinking, teamwork, loss, the unifying power of shared experience, and the importance of weighing ALL the evidence before making a judgment. This is theater at its best. "

A hilarious education on a world-changing event.
"The fact that this musical is based on a very real, very impactful event, makes the delivery all the more impressive. The 5-person cast swapped between multiple characters seamlessly and immersed you in their characters so well you didn’t even need the costume changes to know who was speaking. Multiple moments of hilarity and self-referential mirth were juxtaposed with heavy emotional depth from a dark historical time, delivered with poise, dignity and pathos. Difficult at times to understand every word due to the generally poor acoustics of old theatres but in no way detracted from the glorious spectacle of an historically defining event. 100% recommend. About Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical

The year is 1943 and right now we’re losing the war. Luckily, we’re about to gamble all our futures on a stolen corpse.

Singin’ in the Rain meets Strangers on a Train, Operation Mincemeat is the fast-paced, hilarious and unbelievable true story of the twisted secret mission that won us World War II.

Bursting at the seams with the kind of chaos you couldn’t invent, the question is: how did a dead body, a fake love letter, and - of all people - Ian Fleming come together to wrong-foot Hitler?
