"Engaging performances are only part of the reason this play is terrific…the writing is great & the story SO realistic. I felt like I was viewing people I know “act out,” giving in to their (certainly real, human) emotions while simultaneously observing themselves get into a highly sticky situation, one with potential for all kinds of bad consequences. And watching Jackman alternate between being a perpetrator & then observer who breaks the fourth wall was clever & riveting."
