Beatty, Bening, Bynes & More Awaken to Spring
Well, spring fever has finally sprung! And on Broadway, the stars have been lining up like mad at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre to experience the exuberant young cast that typifies the rejuvenation of the season in Spring Awakening. During the first week in April, no less than Hairspray movie starlet Amanda Bynes (Penny Pingleton), original Hairspray musical stage star Marissa Jaret Winokur (Tracy Turnblad), Rent original caster Anthony Rapp, plus Hollywood royalty Warren Beatty and Annette Bening and their kids took in a dose of Spring.
