On February 15, the pop superstar stopped by CNN’s Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien to talk about the effect the illness has had on his performance as J. Pierrepont Finch, and how he finds the motivation to deliver a knockout performance each night. Jonas, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 14, describes his condition as “unpredictable,” and sometimes feels dizzy or thirsty if his blood sugar is unstable.
