A new group of “Super Heroes” join Broadway’s The Rocky Horror Show on August 25. & Juliet Tony nominee Lorna Courtney steps in as Janet Weiss, with Glee star Kevin McHale as Brad Majors, Jimin Moon as Rocky and George Salazar as Eddie/Dr. Scott. Additionally, Preston Perez will join the company as a swing. Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears is set to take over the role of Frank-N-Furter on September 11. Paul Soileau will play Frank-N-Furter on July 26, August 2, August 9, August 16, August 18 and August 25 through September 10.
Courtney most recently starred as Anne Wheeler in the U.K. stage adaptation of Disney’s The Greatest Showman. On Broadway, she starred as Juliet in & Juliet, earning a Tony nomination for her performance. Her additional Broadway credits include Dear Evan Hansen and West Side Story. She originated the role of Veronica in the 2025 off-Broadway revival of Heathers The Musical. On screen, Courtney's credits include The Equalizer and 9-1-1 Nashville.
McHale will make his Broadway debut in The Rocky Horror Show. He joins following his run in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee off-Broadway. In the West End, McHale starred in The Frogs. Best known for his role as Artie Abrams on Glee, McHale's additional television credits include The Office, When We Rise, American Horror Stories and The Hunting Party.
Moon joins The Rocky Horror Show following his run in Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody. On Broadway, Moon has appeared in Sunset Boulevard, Lempicka and Disney’s Aladdin.
Salazar’s Broadway credits include Be More Chill and Godspell. On television, Salazar appeared in American Crime Story: Impeachment and Superstore.
Perez joins the company following a run in Death Becomes Her on Broadway. He made his Broadway debut in A Beautiful Noise.
The Rocky Horror Show continues to feature Rachel Dratch as Narrator, Amber Gray as Riff Raff, Valentina as Columbia and Sherie Rene Scott as Magenta. The cast also includes Renée Albulario, Anania, Boy Radio, Caleb Quezon, Andres Quintero, Larkin Reilly and John Yi. The revival of Richard O'Brien's cult favorite musical, directed by Oh, Mary! Tony winner Sam Pinkleton, is set to run through February 28, 2027 at Studio 54.
