Best 1st Broadway show EVER !!!
"I loved the venue to begin with so elegant and authentic NYC. The band and singers were absolutely outstanding and the story really moved me. The uplifting and sentimental music was gorgeous. I was definitely dancing in my seat and remembering years gone by seeing many Cuban and Latin bands in concert and in clubs in Los Angeles in the 90’s. We sat in left orchestral 2nd row and the view was perfect. This is a MUST see !!! "

Fantastic production and great music and dancing
"Loved it so much. I've heard the album 100 times and the show did a great job of opening the history up and turning it into a compelling narrative. Performers were wonderful. No surprise that the onstage band won a special Tony as well as the singer playing Omara Portundo.

Don’t miss it!
"I loved everything about the show. The storyline was beautiful when the documentary came out in 1996. I wasn’t far the level of talent on the island of Cuba. Play beyond the music also showed us the political tensions from the 50s on the island. The musicians and the singers and the dancers were absolutely fabulous. It was a play and a concert All In One visit the principal performers were outstanding."
