"I attended the final performance on Sunday, July 12, as it was the closing day of the show's run. Jon delivered a wonderful, powerful performance and truly embraced the role with confidence and authenticity. It was impressive to watch him make the character his own.
Many of the other cast members are seasoned performers with extensive experience in television, film, and theater, and they also gave outstanding performances. The production as a whole was engaging and well done.
Overall, I was very pleased with the play. For someone making his Broadway debut, Jon deserves tremendous kudos—he more than held his own alongside such an accomplished cast. Since the show has now closed, I'm not sure how helpful this review will be for future theatergoers, but I wanted to recognize what a memorable performance it was."

Survey Says….
"My fam and I had a tremendous time at the show. Entertaining, suspenseful, and with enormous energy from both the cast and audience, we laughed hard and became invested in the characters and story. Easily part of our top 3 Broadway/Off-Broadway shows in the last 25 years. "

Interesting new take and actors stunned!
"I thought the addition of comedy to an already gritty and depressing story pulled the audience in. The connection and interplay between Colleen and Sunny was very endearing. I think it’s ok to inject humor into a situation that is obviously very sensitive and triggering for some—it’s a good way to catch the attention of those that at first would turn away. As a member of this community, I feel it’s important to get everyone to listen, not just those that were listening in the first place.
So how you catch their attention doesn’t matter.
The actors were amazing and I loved the rotating stage sets and the involvement of the audience. Very well done!"

Amazing Time at the Theatre
"Went just to see John and Ebon but was pleasantly surprised with an amazing experience. Every actor was phenomenal and I was engaged throughout the entire show. Did not see the movie but still thought this was a great adaptation of the event in the 70s. "

Worth every penny
"Loved it! Everyone was fantastic. I saw a lot of reviews saying Sal was a wasted character, but I thought he was the anchor for Sonny who was so high intensity. It was very a very fun mix of comedy & pathos. Leon didn’t have a lot of stage time but she made a significant impact. I wish I could see it again before it closes in July."

Stunning Twist
"Stunning twist on the original work. I laughed ( HARD! ) so often. I cried a little bit at times. I was touched by so much of it. It was raw and it was real. Every ounce of it screamed what’s happening right now and the injustice of it all. This play was so aptly timed! I can’t say a negative thing about it. Moments of note are scattered throughout. Very memorable! Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss Bachrach aren’t the only stars but they shiiiiiine! You’ll love it! Don’t miss this while you can still see it!!"

Dog Day Afternoon - brilliant!
"Jon Bernthal is electric and full of energy. The rest of the cast is amazing as well.
Funny and poignant and even though the story takes place in 1972 the themes are still relevant today.
Highly recommended!"

Fantastic experience
"I haven’t been to a broadway play in over ten years. My obsession with Jon bernthal is what brought me to this play. I really enjoyed the play, not ever having watched the movie, I had no idea what I was in for. I’m surprised at how much I laughed.
Really felt transported back to the 1970s. Looking forward to seeing more broadway plays in the future."
