Very good
"Having recently seen the Broadway production of Dog Day Afternoon in New York, I was struck by the uniformly excellent performances across the entire cast. The supporting roles were particularly noteworthy; Ebon Moss-Bachrach was incredible as Sal, delivering a performance of remarkable depth, intensity, and quiet gravitas that powerfully anchored the central relationship. Even the broader ensemble executed their parts with precision, clarity, and genuine commitment, creating a cohesive and believable world on stage. The production skillfully incorporated humor throughout, which I found genuinely enjoyable; however, the show occasionally slipped into a sitcom like sensibility that lightened the tone. While this comedic approach provided real entertainment value, I found myself wishing for a more serious and unflinching exploration of the brutal realities of that era, particularly the profound challenges and hardships faced by minorities and the gay community in the 1970s."

Jon Bernthal is a powerhouse

Good but not what I expected
"The show was good! Definitely not what I expected. Billed as a crime drama but played as a crime comedy which didn’t really hit right for the crime taking place. Actors played their roles well and the scenery was really cool!"

Not what I expected
"Loved the performances. The tone of the play was very confusing. It was not the drama I expected. The first act was great but everything bogged down in the second act. Very intense and did not match the atmosphere of the first act. It just couldn't find a happy medium."
