Fan of The Bear? Can't Miss
"Jon Bernthal & Ebon Moss-Bachrach are phenomenal actors whose best display was on the most recent special release episode of "Gary" for The Bear. To get to see them both in person this week playing off a classic New York movie thriller, similar to how Pacino & Cazale had acting history together before playing Sonny & Sal in the film, was very special. Really enjoyed the show, awesome acting and great set capturing the bank & outside. "

Amazing and beautiful
"My Son and I went to see a Dog Day Afternoon Broadway comedy show and My Son and I had an amazing time. The show was very funny and kept me laughing the whole time. The actors did a great job and had a lot of energy on stage. The audience was really into it, which made the experience even better. The theater atmosphere on Broadway was exciting and lively. My Son and I would definitely recommend seeing a comedy show if you want a fun night out. We would go again!"

Outstanding performances
"The set and cast were spectacular. The individual performances were so captivating. There was some humor but an intensity that kept you on the edge of your seat. Really enjoyed the show. "

Old story line
"Play was older, longer, but interesting, had some comical lines, I never seen the movie, so I didn't know what to expect. I did enjoy the play and also liked starting at 1:00 PM and not letting people in after play starts. "

John Berthnal is excellent as Sonny.
"It was well paced with a good mix of drama and some comedy. John Berthnal really channelled his best Al Pacino."

About Dog Day Afternoon

Step back into the sweltering summer of 1972, New York City—a time when the Vietnam War looms large, Watergate headlines flood the news, and one man's desperate act captivates the nation.  A Brooklyn bank hold up quickly goes wrong, and with each gut-wrenching twist that unfolds, chaos ensues that ignites the city as they follow the actions of a man on the edge. Dog Day Afternoon is a raw, gritty reminder of what happens when passion and desperation collide.
