Best Play I've Seen in 10 years - Dog Day Afternoon
"This season of plays launching are star-studded and I am a fan of Bethernal. For that reason I went to see DDA as my 1st play of 2026. I took my wife and sat 9 rows from the front. The energy from the play radiated through the entire Orchestra seating. The set design rotates to give you a Cinematic feel to it. The show is a combination of Comedy, Action and Heart. This is the best play I've seen on Broadway in atleast a decade. If you sit Orchestra there is a level of Crowd Participation (I won't ruin the surprise).
The Cast is full of ppl you know from TV that you recognize but don't know their names. It sincerely feels like you are watching a LIVE movie in action. I HIGHLY recommend checking it out. "

"Just saw the play during the preview period on 3/14. Jon Bernthal has “Sonny” already locked-in despite only day 4 of preview performances. His talent shown on the screen is displayed exponentially live on stage. Set design was top notch and beyond creative.
