About Marjorie Prime on Broadway

Everything you need to know about the show.

The Story

Pulitzer Prize finalist Jordan Harrison reinvents the family drama in his richly spare, wryly funny, and powerful Marjorie Prime, directed by Tony Award® nominee Anne Kauffman. A heart-achingly beautiful rumination on aging and artificial intelligence, memory and mortality, love and legacy, Marjorie Prime examines the blurred line between a life lived and a life remembered.

This is what theater could/should be
"An intelligent story that stays with you for a long time and beautifully told by a talented cast. How much of the past should we force others to remember and which version of the story even matters?"

Great theater.
"A spectacular production. Set, lighting, sound and acting illuminated a beautifully written and directed, haunting story about a family’s love and the encroachment of high tech companions."

Performance that stayed with me
"I knew very little about the play beforehand; I went because of June Squibb and the subject of memory and dementia. But all the acting was fabulous - especially Squibb and Danny Burstein - and the play is beautifully written, paced, staged. It turns out to be timely as well. Most of all, I find I feel affected by it days later, and if I could, I'd go again."
