Masquerade
"What an incredible and unique way to experience phantom of the opera. You became part of the show and move room to room as the story unfolds, and the cast interacts with you it’s so fun. You do sometimes get split up between rooms and moved around to fill the space of the rooms a certain way, so if you come with others stick close it’s easy to get split up. Be aware of your surroundings and others around you too as you move rooms. "

Incredible Cast, Immersive Experience
"As a long-time Phantom fan, Masquerade was a fantastic new take on the lore. The talent in this cast is remarkable—they are fully committed and bring a great energy to the room. The set transitions were handled perfectly by the staff, which is no small feat given the number of people. My only minor gripe was the group size; a slightly more intimate crowd would have made it perfect, but it didn't take away from the overall magic. Definitely add this to your NYC itinerary."

Incredible
"I have seen a great many shows, and Masquerade was truly one of the best theatrical experiences of my life!! It was simply magical and absolutely enthralling. From the moment we walked into the show, we felt a part of it all! The costumes, the lighting, the ambiance of the various settings, the characters -- the magnificent talent of the actors, singers and dancers -- INCREDIBLE, and unforgettable. We were inside the play, with Christine and Raoul and the Phantom and the entire cast, feeling part of all that was unfolding right in front of our eyes. It was such fun to dress to the nines and wear a mask and for two hours forget the rest of the world. A must-experience for sure!"

An intriguing immersive glimpse into the world of Phantom of the Opera
"The experience was truly immersive insofar as we were led on a journey through many scenes and experiences and interacted with the cast very closely throughout. For lovers of the musical Phantom of the Opera, this experience provides a wonderful perspective into the characters, particularly the Phantom himself, with his back story and motivation for revenge explained at close quarters. The performances were strong and the cast dealt well with a situation where the audience is extremely close to them and there is no separation between show and audience. The experience was a constant surprise and a constant delight. Very high production standards and the audience wranglers did a superb job in moving us through the experience in a theatrical fashion."

Enjoyed the experience.
"I enjoyed the show. It was very theatrical and cool being up close and personal. I had never seen the whole show before so I think I was a little bit of a disadvantage because according to my son, it’s a bit of an abridged version so maybe I did not get everything. sometimes you feel in the way of the action because you have to be moved out of the way for a piece of scenery or for someone to pass by, which can be a little distracting. And there is a lot of walking and standing and going up and downstairs, so be prepared for that. Overall, it was a very cool experience and the performers have awesome voices especially the girl who played the lead. Tickets are a bit pricey. I may have preferred to see the play in its entirety on stage for the first time, but if you’re a big phantom fan, like my son, I’m sure you would love this!"

It’s more experience than theater
"While the set was intricate, and I had to appreciate the choreography of shuffling us in and out of larger groups, it felt more gimmick than legitimate theater. Our phantom was phenomenal, but many of the others felt like they were pushing their range or just strained. It was a neat atmosphere but also exhausting, trying to stay together in the dark, shuffling for seats, sometimes standing in a back corner with no view. For phantom fans, this just doesn’t hit the same. The show is abridged/changed significantly, and feels more like a Disney production than Broadway. Would I go again? Sure, if you’re paying , and there’s nothing else I want to see…. At $270 per person, no thanks."
