A New Way To See a Classic
"Masquerade is to lovers of Phantom of the Opera what Nathan’s in Coney Island is to lovers of hotdogs. While no one calls replicate Michael Crawford as the Phsntom and Sarah Brightman as Christine, the actors playing them here are excellent.
My only negative is letting people into the theatre not dressed properly…. At the very least a jacket and tie for the men and dresses for the ladies and absolutely no sneakers or beachwear. "

"This is not just a show. It is an experience. Exceeded expectations in all levels. There’s nothing not to like. There is a dress code and can only wear black, white, and gray which gives uniformity and enhances the immersive experience. You have to go up and down stairs, which may be an issue for some. Other than that, the show is spectacular. There is a wow moment at every scene. I’ve seen Phantom of the opera at broadway and saw the movie but Masquerade takes it several levels up. This show makes you appreciate the story line more. The performers are top notch. They did a good job making you feel part of the story. The show ran so smooth. You do not feel rushed but they adhered to the time. I highly recommend. I wish more shows are like this. "
