"A miraculous musical that tells the entire story in a kind of accelerated farce that is part Mel Brooks, part SIX, part Hamilton with a side order of One Man, Two Guvnors."

A wonderful show
"I didn't know what to expect walking into the theater. I read the The Man Who Never Was over 40 years ago and didn't know how they could turn this spy thriller into a musical. I was thrilled with the results. It was funny, it was well acted, it was moving. The song Dear Bill was so moving and there was a two minute ovation from the audience at the end of the song. I especially appreciated the balance between the singing and orchestra. I had just been to a Disney show the night before where the orchestra was too loud and drowned out the voices on stage. I appreciated being able to hear the singers. Some of the material wasn't necessary in my opinion (Das Ubermensch) and there were a few too many patter songs where I couldn't catch all the words. But the overall production was one of the best shows I have ever seen on Broadway. "

Cheeky Brits Strike Again!
"Leave it to the British to find musical comedy in a daring, true tale of WWII subterfuge. And Jak Malone reduces the entire house to tears with his performance of 'Dear Bill'. A complete delight."

Not the usual British humor
"I wasn't sure what to expect when going in because some British humor is different than ours. Aside from not understanding a few lines because of their accent I absolutely found it very funny. The talent of the group is amazing. It was well done!"

Hilarious musical comedy of a WWII secret mission
"I watched a British espionage thriller "The Man Who Never Was" in 1956 and realized the 2021 Netflix film "Operation Mincemeat" was an updated film based on a true story of British Intelligence during WWII. Today, the British have developed a highly hilarious musical comedy which will leave you laughing until the final curtain. Because many of us cannot follow British english easily, it would be helpful to find music and lyrics of the show on the internet before you attend the stage show. Try YouTube. Enjoy!"

About Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical

It’s 1943, and the Allied Forces are on the ropes. Luckily, they’ve got a trick up their sleeve. Well, not up their sleeve, per se, but rather inside the pocket of a stolen corpse. Equal parts farce, thriller, and Ian Fleming-style spy caper (with an assist from Mr. Fleming himself), Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical tells the wildly improbable and hilarious true story of the covert operation that turned the tide of WWII.
