The one thing I planned to see
"I really enjoyed the fun in this. I had read an in depth review in the N.Y. Times and knew I had to see it. I was not disappointed! Costumes, dancing, over-the-top performance. And moments where the performers bring the audience in. "

5 characters play a bushel of roles
"The many and varied roles played by only 5 people was a challenge, but the cast was more than up to it. How they continuously changed outfits and characters was amazing and hilarious. Sets and how they were moved around to change where the action was taking place was very clever. Voices excellent and dancing exuberant and fun. Top-notch!"

Very Very well done!
"The songs were great, the writing was great. It really had a true life British feel to it —very funny, but yet I was also quite touched by parts of it. So, I laughed and I cried. And the acting was really, really, GOOD! Go! You won’t be disappointed !"

Cast of 5 wows as if they were 50
"My daughter and I went to Operation Mincemeat during our recent trip to NYC because she’d heard a podcast about the true story of Operation Mincemeat- what? a corpse as a red herring helped the Allies invasion of Italy? Never heard of it before! I saw a few interviews with performers before the show so I knew a little of the backstory about the making of the show- not much of a budget and a cast of more characters than could be paid- so the just bought hats to allow 5 people play nearly 100 (that was what they said in the interview, but I thought it was more like 50- not that I was counting characters…) Great energy, fun performances, engaging story, good music, impressive costumes (& costume changes), and creative sets. It’s all there. I definitely want to see it again."

I saw "The New Cast" on their premier performance. I was blown away!
"So many friends recommended I see this show. I knew a bit about the plot and heard some of the music on SiriusXM. However, I really didn't know what to expect. Every once in awhile, a show comes along that just grabs you by the heart, mind, and soul - Operation Mincemeat was, indeed, one of the best Broadway surprises I've ever experienced - I laughed, I cried, I was amazed at the character/costume changes. I hope "the new cast" felt the love from the audience that night! Congratulations to the cast, crew, band, and all for a wonderful experience! "

About Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical

The year is 1943 and right now we’re losing the war. Luckily, we’re about to gamble all our futures on a stolen corpse.

Singin’ in the Rain meets Strangers on a Train, Operation Mincemeat is the fast-paced, hilarious and unbelievable true story of the twisted secret mission that won us World War II.

Bursting at the seams with the kind of chaos you couldn’t invent, the question is: how did a dead body, a fake love letter, and - of all people - Ian Fleming come together to wrong-foot Hitler?
