Brilliant acting!!
"What was there not to enjoy in Operation Mincemeat?!! The five actors are simply fantastic as they seemlessly move between characters. They were simply fantastic. The storyline is engaging. The whole show from start to finish is just amazing. Kudos to the cast and the musicians. This is a show not to miss!!!"

Delightful musical retelling of a true WW2 secret plan
"Really fun and charming musical on a secret plan to defeat the Nazis. The cast is first rate. At times very emotional. Theater well maintained and intimate. We saw it on our last day in NYC and was a perfect way to end our trip. "

Amazing show!
"We knew the story going in, but if you don't, the lyrics of the songs are sometimes hard to hear exactly, so we would recommend learning the story before hand. Maybe watch the 2022 movie. It won't take away from you enjoying the show. The comic timing of the actors is impeccable and extremely funny. We will try and see it again and bring friends with us. "

High Speed NonStop Fun!
"There was not anything I did not like. There are only five actors who perform all of the characters. They are constantly changing the costumes and character and back on stage within seconds. And that takes quite a bit of skill. And not all actors are capable of doing that."

High energy nonstop flow of song & dance
"5 actors who weave the story each playing multiple parts with great vigor. The only negative critique was that the playbill had no info giving background story of the actual events that the musical was based upon. Other than that the performance and presentation was top notch. Superb production "

Outstanding
"It's Brilliant, fast paced and slick, all actors play multiple parts, and the funniest show I've seen in a long long while. It's based a true story, and if history was taught like this it would of been memorable, unlike my exam results."

Serious, funny, and touching
"The topic of Operation Mincemeat is pretty serious. In fact, my husband and I had seen the movie prior to the musical, and we weren’t sure how it was going to be funny (which we had heard) or even a musical. The small but mighty cast was amazing — both with acting and singing in multiple roles. They brought both humor and touching moments into this true and unusual story. Hester’s song/letter made both my husband and I cry, and there were also many laugh out loud times. Highly recommend this show!"

Simply Spectacular
"Operation Mincemeat was spectacular—a mix of song, humor, heart, and theatrical choreography that was executed with precision. It's laugh-out-loud funny and at times sincere. The audience broke into applause during scenes just because the performance moved them. I plan to see it again. "

Incredible Story, Incredible Talent
"We have seen the show twice and it truly is a phenomenal production. So refreshing to see something that is original. Only 5 actors playing the various roles and the voices and talent are incredible - it’s easy to see why Jak Malone won a tony for his performance. Natasha Hodgson plays Ewen Montagu and was incredible as well! Loved, loved, loved it! "

About
Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical
The year is 1943 and right now we’re losing the war. Luckily, we’re about to gamble all our futures on a stolen corpse.
Singin’ in the Rain meets Strangers on a Train, Operation Mincemeat is the fast-paced, hilarious and unbelievable true story of the twisted secret mission that won us World War II.
Bursting at the seams with the kind of chaos you couldn’t invent, the question is: how did a dead body, a fake love letter, and - of all people - Ian Fleming come together to wrong-foot Hitler?
