We laughed, we cried.
"My companion and I could not put into words how much we appreciated the talent on the stage that night.
Operation Mincemeat was so very funny, sad and irreverent.
A very good spin on and old story.
Go get a ticket and just enjoy the ride."

Great acting, interesting plot
"I loved the acting. The minimal set changes and costumes were effective. At times, the musical numbers had such fast lyrics, it made it hard to catch all the lyrics and there was some funny ad libbing we missed from our balcony seats. We are not hard of hearing. "

Fantastic Show!
"My daughter and I weren’t sure what to expect from this show, but loved it! High energy, hilarious dialogue and even an emotional song from Hester. It can be tricky to follow the fast pace coupled with the British accents, but totally worth the price of admission!"

History has never been so fun!
"The actors, the book and music is great. It is very fast paced and my husband and I benefited from using ear pods that you can get for free. The music is wonderful also and the fine cast make it more delightful. Take a night off from stressful reality!"

Mind bendingly Wonderful
"This is the group that wrote and launched this play in the West End. See them now! The rapid change between characters, the masterful use of props and the sets, the acting, the music…there was not a wrong note to be found. So high energy in places and hauntingly beautiful in others (Dear Bill). You won’t be disappointed. "

Fab show
"Loved everything: the choreography, costumes, lighting, singing, typecaste actors actresses and theyses, the dancing, humour and above all, a brilliant script with subtle occasional current political messages. In a word: awesome."

Quite the operation !!
"Although this was a true operation and a very real part of WWII this play with great humor tells its story. The humor is for the most part a likely truth of how this went down. We all owe a debt of gratitude to the real life hero’s of this operation and a debt of gratitude for the actors in this play. It was fabulous !! I’ll be purchasing a second round of tickets for sure. Fresh and funny and historically important
"Learn about an event that was an important part of winning WW2 while being entertained with sharp dialogue, on the mark song lyrics, and great acting. Some in the cast actually wrote the book, lyrics and music for this show. Highly recommend."

Brilliant
"This musical is brilliant on so many levels. Having read the book many moons ago, I had no idea there was a musical lurking in there. What vision and creativity it took to put this little gem together. The casting, the story, the songs are all pretty much magical. I kept nodding my head as in, who thought this up? No notes. Engaging. Fun. Go."

Very Entertaining!
"I was concerned when a rap started early in the play, but it was mostly non-rap. There was a VERY powerful song/performance near the end of act 1. The applause was thunderous and long lasting. Many tears. Lot's of humor and a good story line."

This was very fun!
"While I don’t recommend this show for young children who might not understand it, I did enjoy this show very much myself! It was funny and the cast was brilliant. I would reccomend getting the assisted hearing devices as at some points the acoustics of the theatre made it hard to hear. But that could be due to where we were sitting."

Clever British Musical Comedy
"Although there are only five cast members, this hilarious romp, which came directly from London’s West End, is very well done! Each cast member is incredibly talented both in dialogue and song. This show is based on true events which took place during World War II. I listened to the cast album before I went and I think it might have been a little confusing if I hadn’t so I would highly recommend that you do that. It is very witty and funny and I would highly recommend it."

About
Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical
The year is 1943 and right now we’re losing the war. Luckily, we’re about to gamble all our futures on a stolen corpse.
Singin’ in the Rain meets Strangers on a Train, Operation Mincemeat is the fast-paced, hilarious and unbelievable true story of the twisted secret mission that won us World War II.
Bursting at the seams with the kind of chaos you couldn’t invent, the question is: how did a dead body, a fake love letter, and - of all people - Ian Fleming come together to wrong-foot Hitler?
