With the cast of five each playing multiple parts, the show moves seamlessly through various scenes and songs while telling the story of a daring ruse to promote the Allied victory in the invasion of Sicily during WWII. The cast were brilliant— with a special shout-out to Jak Malone (the next Nathan Lane?) and David Cumming, who gave fabulous performances —- funny, heartfelt, joyful.
The show has many themes, touching on love, loss, and how people who may feel powerless or disregarded or nameless even can contribute greatly to a cause and success. I particularly liked how at the end they acknowledged the nameless man who, although unseen, was a central character throughout the whole Operation and key to its success!"
