God That's Brilliant!
"LOVED this fast-moving show! Would go again just to catch all the nuances. Could hardly believe the story when watching the movie a couple years ago. Rewatched it the night before the musical, which turned out to be a smart thing to do as everything moves so quickly. The performers were incredible - all five (or 80?) of them! Think " Vaudeville meets Hamilton" and enjoy yourselves! "

Pleasant Surprise
"I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but this show was very funny! The performers voices were strong and the songs were good. I liked the way that five people all played several roles. No huge negatives from my point of view. The story line was sometimes hard to follow, but it all comes together."

I couldn’t stop laughing
"I had a wonderful evening at the theatre watching Mincemeat with my 27 year old daughter in New York. The acting, the humor was amazing. The show was the highlight of our three days stay in Manhattan."

The BEST Musical I've ever seen!
"I LOVE musicals - I've pretty much seen them all - and Operation Mincemeat is hands-down THE BEST musical I've ever seen! If you're seeking a fast-paced clever show, actors oozing with singing/dancing/acting talent, memorable songs, incredible storyline, ingenious costumes and staging, and a chance to experience sheer joy and also shed a few tears then be sure not to miss this show. Makes you feel good all over. Its the way musicals used to be AND hopefully should be/are going to be - it takes the best of all past and present aspects and the result is simply marvelous. "

Highly recommend
"Superb performances by the cast. The only downside is sometimes the words are difficult to understand because of the speed of the delivery."

A Wild Ride
"The singing, the harmonies, the music and the choreography were all superb. The way the actors changed characters was mind boggling and a little hard to follow sometimes. Also, the acoustics could be improved, we sat upstairs and missed some of the dialogue. If the theater would provide listening devices for those of us that are hard of hearing, that would have helped. But overall, it was fantastic, wild and great theatrical experience."

Absolutely Obsessed
"We took my teenager to see the show after hearing the cast recording, and it more than lived up to his expectations. He's so impressed with the clever lyrics and the silliness and seeing it all put together on stage made for an epic night."

Absolutely Phenomenal
"This was a truly revolutionary show, expertly performed. While the show was about history, the production was from 3026! Gender norms were tossed out the window in a really beautiful way. Somehow the entire cast was only 5, but they sounded like 15. The set and costumes were changing out so fast you couldn't even keep track. The show was hilarous and heartfelt. I was left in absolute awe. I couldn't rank this show high enough or recommend it strongy enough. "

A lot with a little
"This is an amazing show with only 5 cast members. Great singing, dancing, score, acting, sets, and costumes. So well done with so little. Little space, small cast, and huge heart. We saw Sam Hartley the understudy for Jeff Kready playing Hester Leggatt. Sam stole the show. Sam’s rendition of “Dear Bill” literally had the audience in tears. We loved this show and story. Our only criticism was Julia Knitel was a little much. Felt forced and to over the top. "

Great performance!
"The actors are amazing! Their performance is superb! With only 5 people in the cast and each actor playing different roles they’re able to pull it off and perform the character convincingly! It’s also funny and brought laughters! I love Montagu and Charles!"

Don’t blink, you don’t want to miss a minute of this show!
"I could not tear my eyes away from that stage! Every song, dance, and comedic scene (which there were a lot of) was perfectly preformed. I could not count on all of my fingers and toes how many time I laughed out loud to this show. The cast had me captivatingly silent, on the verge of crying, and falling out of my seat laughing. I wish I could see it again a million times like it was the first time. And shout out to Julia Knitel! Absolutely amazing! I couldn’t stop watching her! She made an outstanding Montague."

Top class entertainment
"What a show. Fast paced, great music, laugh out loud at times but some somber moments too. The fact it’s based on a true story influencing the outcome of WW2 makes it all the better. Unhesitating standing ovation at the end from the entire audience. First class performance. "

Incredible
"What a fantastic show. 5 actors playing 20+ characters, the quick change outfits and sets were amazing. The music is 10/10, so I didn't expect the actual stage show to be top notch, but it was. The show has a lot of comedy, and also a lot of emotion... and it's a true story! We see a lot of musicals here in Denver, so I'm very happy that my first show on Broadway was this good."

How much fun can five performers create!!
"Amazing cast. Fun story. Great music. The “letter” “Dear Bill” (you have to go just to hear this!) was some of the most exquisite writing I’ve ever heard on a stage and Jak Malone’s performance was one you’ll remember for the rest of your life. Brush up on the overall plot first before you go. It will allow you to catch on sooner and more easily. I just LOVED this show in every imaginable way! "

Operation - get-you-to-come-back-again-it-is-so-good!
"Few shows are as fun, exciting, surprising, and touching! It is hard to say what was the most captivating- the music, the dancing, the characters or the story-line. The cast was outstanding, including the two understudies. I intend to return with friends. The music lyrics are very fast-paced, so I know I will enjoy hearing it all again and picking up anything I may have missed. "

Great play, see the movie or learn about the operation before going to the
"The play was great! I would recommend that a person should get a preview of the operation before going to the play. I saw the movie. I attended the play with two people who told me they would not have been able to follow the play if we had not talked about the operation in advance. I was curious how they would turn the movie into a play. I was pleasantly surprised to see how the mo is was portrayed in a musical and a comedy!"

About Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical

The year is 1943 and right now we’re losing the war. Luckily, we’re about to gamble all our futures on a stolen corpse.

Singin’ in the Rain meets Strangers on a Train, Operation Mincemeat is the fast-paced, hilarious and unbelievable true story of the twisted secret mission that won us World War II.

Bursting at the seams with the kind of chaos you couldn’t invent, the question is: how did a dead body, a fake love letter, and - of all people - Ian Fleming come together to wrong-foot Hitler?
