Clever British Musical Comedy
"Although there are only five cast members, this hilarious romp, which came directly from London’s West End, is very well done! Each cast member is incredibly talented both in dialogue and song. This show is based on true events which took place during World War II. I listened to the cast album before I went and I think it might have been a little confusing if I hadn’t so I would highly recommend that you do that. It is very witty and funny and I would highly recommend it."

Great energy
"The actors’ timing was impeccable, which it had to be for such demanding roles. I had no trouble following the multiplicity of roles each actor played, which is more a credit to the actors than to me. “Dear Bill” deserves all the praise it has received.
I had two objections. I had trouble understanding the lyrics of many of the songs, although the music as a whole was lovely. Second, the beginning of the second act was farcical, somewhat reminiscent of “Springtime for Hitler,” except it wasn’t funny.
The ending was bizarre but ultimately satisfying. Finally, seeing the actors having such a fun time performing was worth the price of admission."
