A top contender for this year's Tony for best musical!
"Hysterical, clever, and performed with clarity, creativity and broad range of extraordinary talent. Each line, spoken or sung, each dance move, each action, every take - crisp and delightful. "Operation Mincemeat" lands with aplomb!"

Unbelievably Talented Cast!
"I was not sure what to expect with this show. I purchased the tickets during a presale after my wife and I were discussing the next show to attend in New York! We were not disappointed! The cast is phenomenal and the talent it takes to tell a story as a cast of five is hard to describe in words. This show is a must see over and over again!"

Enjoyable, funny…what a great experience
"The actual story I knew…but this was a comedic version and a musical. However, was still true to the story and still honored the story. Five talented actors played so many roles in quick succession that I lost count. My eyes welled up with tears during “Dear Bill” …. that performance is worth the price of admission…and a Tony. Go!"

A brilliantly funny show with brilliant performances...
"The show is very funny, very English. And the love song near the end of Act One is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard on a stage. I was slightly disappointed becase I'd heard the London show was , due to its British audiences, more raucous and better appreciated, so the atmosphere in the theater was wonderful and wild. Not so much here, although the audience did seem to love it. Still. Great idea for a show, beautifully executed by the cast."

complete delight
"An truly exceptional cast. Very clever staging, high energy, funny and sad in turn. My only complaint is that the lyrics were hard to hear whenever several people were singing together and the song was fast."

Spycraft
"A dead body, a fake identity, and a scheme so wild it duped Hitler. Operation Mincemeat is the fast-paced, gender-bending spy musical that turns WWII history into a whip-smart, high-energy romp. With sharp wit, a killer score, and more twists than a Bond film, its espionage served with sass, sparkle, and serious brains. True story. Totally ridiculous. Absolutely unmissable."

An Unforgettable Blend of History and Hilarity
" I thoroughly enjoyed Operation Mincemeat. What stood out to me most was the incredible versatility of the cast—each actor took on multiple roles with such energy and animation that it brought the story to life in the most colorful and engaging way. Their ability to shift between characters added a dynamic layer to the performance that kept me captivated throughout. The show, based on a true story, skillfully blended historical events with sharp humor. It managed to be both informative and wildly entertaining. The witty writing and clever staging added to the charm, making the entire experience feel fresh and inventive. Overall, I found Operation Mincemeat to be a brilliant production. It was smart, funny, and completely unique—an absolute must-see! "

About Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical

The year is 1943 and right now we’re losing the war. Luckily, we’re about to gamble all our futures on a stolen corpse.

Singin’ in the Rain meets Strangers on a Train, Operation Mincemeat is the fast-paced, hilarious and unbelievable true story of the twisted secret mission that won us World War II.

Bursting at the seams with the kind of chaos you couldn’t invent, the question is: how did a dead body, a fake love letter, and - of all people - Ian Fleming come together to wrong-foot Hitler?
