Everything old is new again...almost
"Marvelous staging of this classic play with a wonderfully diverse cast that adds an up-to-date, honest view while preserving the traditional perspective. Jim Parsons seems made for the role of Stage Manager and does a bang up sympathetic job. Hardly a dry eye around me (me too). Thank you, thank you for this overdue staging! Hope it gets extended! It deserves to!"

Living Life to its Fullest!
"Outstanding-Poignant The cliché 'Life is short'- is conveyed brilliantly by Jim Parsons. Life. Love. Death. I feel confident in saying the audience experienced every emotion from beginning to end. I will cherish this performance forever. "

An Ageless Classic
"I was pleasantly surprised to see Jim Parsons as The Stage Manager. He didn't play it as the wise old man, but rather as someone who was letting us in on what was happening or going to happen with a twist of humor. He was absolutely amazing, as was the entire ensemble. Love the set, especially the one in the devastating third act. People around me were crying softly, and I had tears in my eyes, too, though I myself have directed this play several times and acted in it once. It's my favorite American play, and this is one of my favorite productions of it. Congratulations to the director, cast and crew for a wonderful production!"

Wild Play Done Well
"I love the theatre and left Our Town wondering why I had not seen this play before. I thoroughly enjoyed the staging, directing, lighting and cast, but the words oh those miraculous words are the star of this show. The words upstaged even the stellar cast that included Jim Parsons as the Stage Manager, who kept the show rolling along at a good clip. Not one second of stage time was wasted with fluff. The plays matter-of-fact approach to marriage, death and empty nests was just incredible. Without giving away any spoilers, I can only say an I cannot wait to see it again. "

The classic story speaks to the present!
"I loved my seat on the stage! I know this show very well! The actors were the very best conveyers of the storyline! I did not enjoy the period of dress chosen? I was not thrilled with the flat wall of the house where the young couple carried out their courtship! I loved everything else! "

Great play
"I’m from Uruguay, I was visiting NYC and I couldn’t miss the opportunity to go to Broadway. This was my first time in Broadway watching a play. In my view, the play was great and a great option for the ones who loves classical plays and American classical literature. I speak English as a foreing language and I find it really easy to understand. If English is not your first language, do not hesitate to watch it. "
