A wonderful show
"I didn’t know what to expect. I saw an ad and thought I want to see that. After seeing the Tonys I gained a little insight to the show and was taken by not only the performance, but also the set.
What performances we saw! Both performers were amazing at singing and acting (we saw the standby Phoenix Best as Robin). The story didn’t have a false step. Back to the sets. The set pieces were so clever. I just loved how it all worked! I left feeling so much better for getting to meet these characters. "

Unexpected gem!
"This show was so much more than we thought it would be. I watched a Saturday matinee performance with my wife and 14 yr old daughter. It’s amazing how two actors and a simple set can take us on such a comedic, emotional and deeply human journey. The performance was exceptional. We all laughed harder than we had at any of the previous 8 shows that we have seen. 100% recommended for 13+ age group and adults."

Amazing show! Human, touching, and incredibly funny
"We saw 3 shows in one weekend while in NY for my daughter's 18th birthday, and this show was the best by far. The actors' natural chemistry and incredible voices, the simplicity but full use of the stage design, and the visible orchestra were award worthy. The singing and genuine humor made it the best show I've seen this year. I fell in love with Doughal and respected and wanted to be "his auntie" 😆! Highly recommend. I will definitely watch this show again."

Best Show of the Year!
"I was going to be in NYC for one night and knew I needed to see this show. It absolutely did not disappoint! The actors are so phenomenally talented, both in singing and acting, and the stage design was impressive! The story is l beautiful and original and was everything I hoped it would be. A delightfully funny evening
"We went into the show with only a passing knowledge of the plot and quick perusing of the songs online. We came away having had one of the more lighthearted and delightful evenings of musical theater that we've seen in a good while. The show is witty, poking fun at NYC visitors (which there are undoubtedly many on hand) without being insulting. The songs were well crafted and sung beautifully.

"So wonderful—would see it again! I went with a group of five friends from out of town to celebrate my 50th birthday and just loved it—from the clever set, to the talented musicians and actors, I sat there rapt. Charming, poignant story that made us laugh AND cry. Loved our seats up in the balcony with a direct view of the stage.
Only critique: The music was quite loud so I was grateful I’d brought my loop experience earplugs! Anyone with sensory issues might want to do the same."
